Squier Precision Bass refers to the various bass guitars owned by The Smiths bassist Andy Rourke.

The first Squier P-Bass was seen on July 6th 1983, in a live concert at the Hacienda, superseding the P-Bass Copy Rourke used earlier. It was a black unit with a maple neck and a white pickguard.

In October 1983, another Squier P-Bass surfaced, identical to the previous except it had a black pickguard. This was seen in the Riverside and The Tube videos for This Charming Man. The bass was last seen in this configuration on March 31st 1984, in the Earsay video for Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now.

The final Squier P-Bass was similar to the second, although with a rosewood neck. Its only appearance was June 14th, 1984 on Top Of The Pops.
